Mom! What's for Dinner?

Ooo, it's in the roaster so it must be good!

Slow cooked for hours...

a grate!
Mmmmm!

This grate goes from the ceiling in the main level up to the 2nd level of our latest renovation house.  It was caked with layers and layers of paint, so many layers that there wasn't much room in the holes for air to pass through.
I read that boiling it would make the paint peel right off and it sure did.  Worked like a charm with very little elbow grease and no mess and fumes from stripper.  Now it has a coat of primer and is waiting for me to decide what color the ceiling will be to get it painted.

God bless, stay warm, and stay safe,
Kendra
