Swap Goodies from Becky

When I got home today there was a box from Becky at Ginger Creme Hollow waiting for me by the porch door!  I was supposed to be meeting Jene somewhere but I knew I wouldn't be able to wait so I took a couple of minutes to dig in!  Everything was wrapped up so pretty but as you all know, you never get to see pictures of that from me because I can't wait that long to unwrap things!  In fact I have a funny story about that; when I was a teen I could unwrap Christmas gifts with great skill in a fashion that my folks never knew I had not been able to wait for the surprise of what was inside.  Jene and my first Christmas I tried my skills out on him...and failed miserabley, when he found out that I had opened one of my gifts he actually made me wait until Valentine's Day to get it (I thought he had returned it lol!) after that he leaves any gifts he has in his car, locks it, and hides all the keys...guess once you break that trust you don't get it back, even after 20 years LOL!  Oh well, if that's the worst trust issue Jene and I have I can live with that :)

Sorry, lost track there!  The first two things on top in the package I am partial too- yes, I play favorites!

Becky made the pinkeep and I love the colors.  I love the story of the wooden duck.  Becky told me she had seen it in an antique store and picked it up a while back not knowing for sure why or what she was going to do with it.  Little did she know at the time that she would end up with The Crazy Duck Lady as a swap partner lol!

This guy will be right at home in my flock.

Oh, I can feel Spring a' comin', seeds for the garden.  If you have not gone on Becky's blog before, you need to do so, she has some of the most beautiful gardens that she decorated with some fun things.  I am not sure how she knew but the little garden notepad is the perfect fix for my paper-aholic tendancies.

A heart mug rug and a heart hanger (love the key on the bottom).
The second picture (that I forgot to flip the right direction) is the other side of the hanging heart.

My family is the fussiest family in the world when it comes to food, yes I can say that with 100% confidence that I am correct in that statement, so I looked at the pile of recipe cards with sceptasism but as I went through them...every single one of them looks like stuff they will eat!  I am going to make one of the recipes tomorrow, Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins, I'll let you know if I am right!

One last thing I wanted to show you.  I love this card, it is so pretty!

Thank you so much for everything Becky, it was all so perfect!
Thank you Amy for again hosting a wonderful swap-we all appreciate it, I hope you know that.

Before I go, a funny teenager story:  Tonight J was looking over some homework because a friend had texted him to ask for help on it.  As he was looking it over he was talking to himself and I heard him say something about the problem that they were working on and then say "that one confuses me" then a second later he said "oh wait, no it doen't".  Hmm, really, you sound confused to me son, I just started laughing at which point he realized what he had just said and started laughing too.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening.

Kendra
