Thrift Sale Finds

J and I had a few minutes after a DR appt. so we swung into Goodwill where I found a shirt, a very victorian blazer that I have nothing to match but I just love it, a red wool blazer to cut up for crafts, a handmade and signed basket (a weakness),

and a great prim looking quacker that I just love!

A little update:  I am moving along slowly in getting my grandparent's estate settled despite the fact that my crazy aunt has hired an additional attorney.  I have no idea what she is hoping to find but I am imagining that her first attorney found nothing questionable so she figured she would get a second opinion.  When the estate's attorney told me that my aunt had hired an additional attorney all I could do was laugh, there is nothing she can do that would surprise me anymore...well, other than repent and change her cold heart and tormented mind.  I can't imagine living my life so consumed, how sad.

Tomorrow I will have the last bedroom in the rental finished...my fingertips, knees, and back will be thankful!  Jene did buy me a pair of nice knee pads this evening so I will give them a try.  Saturday will be a work day for the boys and I over at the house and then Sunday Hiney competes all day.

Hope you have a wonderful evening!

Blessings,
Kendra

  5. Cute basket Kendra.
why do people even bother with fighting over estates? It's only stuff! Not worth the headache and hassle. And you can't take it with you when your gone.
