So Spoiled!

Monday before I left to go grocery shopping I grabbed the mail and there was a big stuffed envelope in there from  Christina and it smelled wonderful!  My car smelled great after riding around with the package.   Anyway here are the added treasures that she sent:

There was a cover for each of the boys in the house, they are USMC covers ( I am trying to get the terminology correct-Christina, let me know how I did) that
had been issued to Marines so the names were inside them and the boys thought that
was the neatest part, the fact that they were used by actual Marines!  An Americana heart that she found at the base thrift store (I sooo want to go there!  She finds some great stuff there!),  an USMC can cooler (as we call them, I am going to use that this weekend camping!), a coffee bag tuck (this is what smelled so good), and lastly a penny pillow that Christina made.

Sorry, my photography skills are not good, but this is the first penny thing that Christina has made
and she did a great job!  Love the colors.  I did warn her that working with wool is addicting but I think she already knows this because she told me she is working on a candle mat for a birthday gift for a friend.
Thank you Christina for my added treasures and thank you again Amy for hosting all these wonderful swaps.

Before I go I have to tell you something funny J said the other day, again, pretty sure I was being made fun of, tell me what you think.  I was getting things ready for the ducks for last weekend since we would be gone for 2 days and Hiney asked if I thought they would be OK at night, I told him that every night I have gone out there at 8:30 or later they were all in their house, huddled and sleeping.  Then I heard J say "do you want to put a post-it note on the door reminding them when to be in bed?  Maybe you should laminate it in case it rains."  I think I may leave to many notes for my kids and I am forever using my laminator for this and that LOL!  Jene was chuckling when I told him.

Love to all,
Kendra
