And the winner is!!!

First I need to share with you what I did with treasures from 2 different swaps I was in.  This is the begining of my Christmas decorating.  I made the tree for the tag ornies and used the candle mat as a tree "skirt".
Now I can remember and pray for the ladies that blessed me with these things every time I see this!

Then I want to share with you a recipe for the cinnamon rolls that I made yesterday.  I used one of the cinnamons that I was blessed with from a swap!  The recipe makes about 2 dozen good sized rolls...this morning there were 5 left...glad I took the picture when I did!

Cinnamon Rolls
1c warm milk
2 1/4t yeast
6T sugar
3c+2T flour
1/2t salt
6T softened butter
1T vegetable oil
1 egg
Dissolve yeast in the warm milk.  Combine remaining ingredients then add the yeast mixture.  Mix well and knead until a nice slightly sticky dough forms.  Let rise to double.
Combine:
3/4c brown sugar
2T cinnamon
Melt:
6T butter
Punch down the dough and divide into two pieces.  Roll out 1 piece of dough to about 18"x 12".  Brush on 1/2 of the melted butter. Sprinkle on 1/2 of the cinn./sugar.  Roll up (for large ones start with the 12" side for smaller rolls start with the 18" side) and then cut into 1 1/2" slices.  Place close together in a 9x13 inch greased pan.  Repeat with the other dough. Let rise again for 30-35 minutes.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30min.  I cover them with foil when they start to brown or they "are burned" (fussy family).

And lastly, what you have all been waiting for...
The winner of my giveaway is...
Robin from The Cranky Crow!
Congrats Robin!  I sent you an email, get back to me with your address please.
Thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun.  I am already stashing for my next giveaway!

I am going to go and get the "new" pie safe out of the truck and get Christmas decorations down from the attic now.  I'll be sure to post pics when everything is settled into place!

Lots of love to all,
Kendra
